Digital Content Manager, University Advancement Malibu Campus
The digital content manager will support Advancement’s objectives and the University’s mission by overseeing content creation and website strategy to build and maintain an engaging online presence for the department that showcases current fundraising initiatives, progress made, important accomplishments, and highlights the stories of our Pepperdine University benefactors. In addition, the manager will work with team members to design and create fundraising materials that can be printed on demand for in-person meetings with donors and donor prospects. The role will work closely with the Donor Relations and University Events team to prioritize projects and support the needs of our fundraising officers from all five schools.
Locksmith I Malibu Campus
Under direction of the Locksmith for the Department of Facilities Services (DFS), and in collaboration with collleagues, the Locksmith I performs installation, repair, and maintenance of locks, locking devices, exit devices, doors, door hardware such as closers, panic hardware, and hinges, and related devices throughout campus. This position collaborates with DFS and other University departments to initiate and deliver high quality projects in a timely manner.
Resident Director and Intercultural Affairs Coordinator Malibu Campus
As a staff member in Student Affairs who works closely with students, this person serves as a Christian role model and promotes a Biblical worldview. Research Associate/Institutional Research Analyst Calabasas Campus
The Research Associate/Institutional Research Analyst reports to the Director of Institutional Research, and helps oversee the Office of Institutional Effectiveness’ (OIE) institutional research (IR) activities. Engagement Specialist Malibu Campus
The Human Resources Engagement Specialist is responsible for offering first-class engagement initiatives, learning and wellness workshops, and community events to Pepperdine faculty and staff to further the University’s mission. Promoting overall health, belonging, and community, the Engagement Specialist oversees immaculate planning for these highly visible in-person and virtual initiatives, including advanced coordination and communication, tech set-up and support, day-of management, and vendor/speaker payments. This position works closely with the Operations team to draft community emails, make updates to the HR blog and website, and provide backup phone coverage. This position must communicate excellence and provide the highest level of customer service, maintaining attention to the smallest details.
Business Services Specialist Malibu Campus
The Business Services Specialist manages the operations for the office of the Associate Vice President for Human Resources and Business Services and assists with various projects within the division. Bringing excellence to all aspects of work and providing exceptional service, this position works directly with multiple departments, including Human Resources, Special Programs, Real Estate Operations, Graduate Campuses, and Business Services (which includes Dining Services, Corniche travel, campus bookstores, and the Villa Graziadio hotel). This position works directly with colleagues and vendors to communicate priorities, write reports, draft proposals, host events, complete projects, and otherwise assist as needed. Customer Services Specialist Malibu Campus
Under the supervision of the Data Systems Administration Manager for the Department of Planning, Operations, and Construction (POC), the Customer Services Specialist supports work order management for the Department of Facilities Services (DFS).
Project Manager Malibu Campus
Under the direction of the Director of the Department of Design and Construction (DDC), and in collaboration with colleagues, the Project Manager manages design and construction projects such as additions, refurbishments, remodels, and new construction on University properties. Management will include planning through design, construction, and project closeout. This position provides valuable services to Pepperdine students, faculty, and staff at the Malibu and Graduate Campuses. The timely and efficient management of mail and especially parcels is essential to Pepperdine students and University operations. The position also manages USPS and UPS mail/parcel retail operations for the benefit of the students and University operations. Recruitment and Employment Specialist Malibu Campus
Recruitment and Employment Specialist serves as a Human Resources ambassador to University supervisors regarding all details of the staff employment cycle, including recruitment and onboarding of new staff and management of transfers, promotions, and other incremental employment changes. Given Pepperdine HR's decentralized structure, this position will not assume a talent acquisition function, but rather, will support hiring managers through the various stages of the recruitment process. In addition, this position will manage the University's temporary pool, recruiting new members and strategically matching them with department openings based on their background and skillset. This position serves as a front-line ambassador, upholding the University mission through work performed, warmly welcoming students, community members and guests, and providing directional information as needed. This position provides additional support to the Lead Shuttle Driver to cover schedules. Greeting each passenger with a smile is the first step to making them feel welcome on the Pepperdine campus. As a member of Pepperdine's Transit team, the Shuttle Driver will be one of the first, and most regular, faces interacting with our passengers. There will be occasions on which departments within the University will request off-campus special events that will require shuttle services. The incumbent will be expected to reflect Pepperdine's high customer service standards with a friendly and helpful demeanor.
