The Advisor, Recruitment and Advising position is designed to encourage and guide applicants to complete the enrollment process in a graduate program at the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School. This position works closely with an external audience of applicants, admits, intended, and enrolled students and internally with Recruitment, Financial Aid, and Programs, as well as admission committee members during the application completion and yield process. This position performs functions critical for maintaining a student-focused environment dedicated to operational excellence, effective enrollment management, and applicant satisfaction with admission and enrollment services at the Pepperdine Business School. The Advisor must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and relate well to prospective and continuing students as well as administration, faculty, and staff. The incumbent must excel in relationship-building and organizational skills, be able to multitask, work independently and as a team player, and have an aptitude for communications-focused objectives. Must be fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
Director of Admission Malibu Campus
Reporting to the Dean of Enrollment Management, the Director is responsible for managing the Office of Admission and has operational oversight for recruitment and admission for the new domestic student population. The Director provides strategic, innovative leadership, developing enrollment goals aligned with the revenue objectives and student success initiatives of the college. The position supports all five strategic goals: By attracting and selecting the best mission-fit and highest quality applicants who will thrive in the Seaver learning environment (Goal 1), paying special attention to increasing diverse and faith heritage populations (Goals 2 and 4), the Director manages enrollment activities in a way that sets clear expectations for incoming students regarding the value of distinctive Seaver academic and co-curricular campus experiences and the return on tuition investment for alumni (Goals 3 and 5).
