The Content Manager will be responsible for creating and managing content to drive engagement across our various consumer audiences for the Pepperdine Graziadio School of Business and Management. The Content Manager is expected to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and trends. They should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our brand clearly and the company's views creatively

Duties

  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging daily real-time communication and content based on content calendar across our various digital platforms.
  • Work closely with Dir. of Marketing & Communications, Dir of Enrollment, Sr. Assoc. Director, along with key stakeholders across the organization, collaborating to establish content and messaging strategy across all levels of communication channels and across all targeted audiences to ensure brand consistency.
  • Communicate with our social media followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews.
  • Oversee social media design (posts, cover profile, etc.).
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.
  • Manage department/program social media requests.
  • General research/analysis.
  • Develop monthly social media analytic reporting, monitor, and analyze, making recommendations on where to adjust as needed to meet our business objectives.
  • Uphold University mission through work performed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

Required: BS degree in Marketing or relevant field; Proven experience in Social Media; Hands on experience in content management; Excellent copywriting skills; Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics; Knowledge of online marketing channels; Excellent communication skills; Analytical and multitasking skills; Advanced experience with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

Preferred: MBA and/or equivalent work experience; Preferred experience in higher education; Preferred experience in Radian6/Social Studio and/or demonstrated experience using an enterprise social listening/publishing tool; Strong time and project management skills

Salary: Commensurate with experience
