The Temporary Mail Clerks are to provide support with the heavy volume of packages at the beginning of the fall semester.

Duties

  • Collect, sort, route and distribute USPS mail. Verify addresses, postage, and condition of incoming and outgoing mail. Deliver mail and parcels to University departments and to the student mail center for pick up by students.
  • Pull information from a computer program and give reports to the students.
  • Uphold University mission through work performed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

Required: Ability to handle a PDA or phone device; ability to lift 50 lb. box; ability to work a basic program on a computer.

Offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment physical and a criminal, education and employment screening.

This is a temporary, non-exempt position with varying days and hours Monday through Saturday (32-40 hours per week). This position is scheduled to begin around August 21, 2017 and end around September 15, 2017.

Salary: Commensurate with experience
