The person in this position administrates and maintains the University Credit Cards. Continues to build a community devoted to strong ethical behavior, ensuring that this value is embedded in the institutional practices as well as effectively stewarding existing financial resources by enforcing credit card policies and insuring internal policies and procedures are upheld. Increase the quality of dialogue and sense of community among staff and administration by communicating with cardholders to facilitate accurate reconciliation of University credit cards.


  • Audit employee purchasing credit card reconciliations by inspecting monthly transaction receipts.
  • Enforce credit card policies by returning reconciliations to the card holder when transactions are incomplete.
  • Maintain an Excel spreadsheet of cardholders reconciliations and notices.
  • Provide support and assistance to employees.
  • Process new credit card applications and issue new employee credit cards.
  • Maintain card holder profiles.
  • Maintain policies and procedures to ensure internal procedures are upheld.
  • Uphold University mission through work performed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

Required: High school diploma; two years accounting or equivalent work experience; strong analytical and good communication skills; proficient in Word and Excel; PC computer skills.

Preferred: AA Degree, classes in business, bookkeeping and accounting; Accounts Payable, purchasing, employee reimbursement experience.

Qualified individuals should be able to articulate a strong commitment to diversity, and have the ability to work effectively with individuals from different backgrounds.

This is a regular, non-exempt, 40 hour per week position.

Salary: Commensurate with experience
