The Graziadio School of Business and Management at Pepperdine University is looking for a highly motivated, results-oriented Recruitment Manager to join our team. This position recruits working professional students to our nationally recognized Bachelor of Science in Management (BSM) Program at the West LA campus. Help shape the next incoming BSM class and future generation of value-centered leaders!

Duties

  • Develop strategic relationships with community colleges that are "feeder" schools to the BSM program; including hosting on-campus information sessions, exhibiting at educational fairs, and conducting presentations at business classes.
  • Build rapport and maintain communication with prospective students, coach and guide applicants throughout the application process; respond to program inquiries.
  • Increase the pool of quality applicants and driving yield to achieve the desired student body composition and scale in an expanding BSM program
  • Frequent and daily use of Salesforce to update and track prospect data to effectively provide service to prospects and applicants.
  • Work closely with the Office of Admission and the Fully Employed Programs Office, Financial Aid and Career Services to ensure superior service to prospects and applicants.
  • Under the supervision of the Director of Recruitment, the Recruitment Manager is responsible for the full-cycle recruitment and enrollment of BSM candidates at the WLA campus.
  • Manage prospect pipeline from interest to enrollment; directly assist and qualify prospective students via a variety of means, including phone, email, individual consultations, and recruitment and yield events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Uphold the University mission through work performed.

Skills and Qualifications

Required: Bachelor's degree; 3+ years of experience in higher education recruitment, corporate sales, or business development with proven record of exceeding targets; experience building rapport with diverse business professional student population. Must have exceptional follow-up/follow through skills; able to multi-task while paying attention to detail. Ability to maintain a strong work ethic and positive attitude in a performance-driven and results-oriented environment. Strong public speaking and verbal/written communication skills. Self-motivated, driven, and open to coaching and constructive feedback toward enhancing job and team performance. Strong business acumen, analytical ability and decision-making skills.

Preferred: Master's degree preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of graduate admissions practices and principles preferred. Experience with Salesforce, CRM, and other customer sales tracking applications strongly preferred.

This is a restricted, exempt, 40 hour per week position.
