The Graziadio School of Business and Management at Pepperdine University is looking for a highly motivated, results-oriented Recruitment Manager to join our recruitment team. This position recruits working professional students to our nationally ranked Fully Employed MBA (FEMBA) Program at the West LA campus. Help shape the next incoming MBA class and future generation of value-centered leaders!

Duties

  • Manage prospect pipeline from interest to enrollment; Directly assist and qualify prospective students via a variety of means, including phone, email, individual consultations, and recruitment and yield events.
  • Build rapport and maintain communication with prospective students, coach and guide applicants throughout the application process; respond to program inquiries.
  • Increase the pool of quality applicants and driving yield to achieve the desired student body composition and scale in an expanding MBA program.
  • Frequent and daily use of SalesForce to update and track prospect data to effectively provide service to prospects and applicants.
  • Work closely with the Office of Admission and the Fully Employed Programs Office, Financial Aid and Career Services to ensure superior service to prospects and applicants.
  • Uphold University mission through work performed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

Required: Bachelors degree; 3+ years of experience in higher education recruitment, corporate sales, or business development with proven record of exceeding targets; experience building rapport with diverse business professional student population. Must have exceptional follow-up/follow through skills; able to multi-task while paying attention to details. Ability to maintain a strong work ethic and positive attitude in a performance-driven and results-oriented environment. Strong public speaking, and verbal/written communication skills. Self-motivated, driven, and open to coaching and constructive feedback toward enhancing job and team performance. Strong business acumen, analytical ability and decision-making skills.

Preferred: Masters degree preferred.

Qualified individuals should be able to articulate a strong commitment to diversity, and have the ability to work effectively with individuals from different backgrounds. Demonstrated knowledge of graduate admissions practices and principles preferred. Experience with SalesForce, CRM, and other customer sales tracking applications strongly preferred.

This is a restricted, exempt, 40 hour per week position.

Salary: Commensurate with experience
