The purpose of the position is to recruit qualified students to the Full-Time Program MBA and MS degree programs to satisfy enrollment targets for the degree program offerings. This position directly supports the University's mission and strategic plan by sharing our commitment to transform students' lives through education by supporting prospective student efforts to join the Pepperdine learning community.

Duties

Duties

  • Responsible for managing conversion through the recruitment funnel to ensure student enrollment targets are met, including daily outreach and support of prospective students and candidates.
  • Research and develop strategic markets for the Full-Time MBA and MS programs. Develop and engage in initiatives to meet enrollment targets. Collaborate with others to generate sufficient quantity and quality leads.
  • Maintain complete, accurate data in the CRM system. Provide regular reports on pipeline activity, lead generation initiatives, conversion rates, yield ratios and the competitive landscape.
  • Manage social media communications to generate new leads, engage existing leads, and support enrollment goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

Required: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in business or related field. Minimum of two years of experience in corporate sales, Higher Ed recruitment or a related field. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong customer relationship skills, and the ability to take initiative and work independently and effectively in a team-oriented environment; Must be extremely organized, detail-oriented, good research skills; professional demeanor; Must have strong cross cultural communication skills and inter-cultural understanding. Must be proficient in MS Office, database and social networking applications, advanced skills in data analysis in MS Excel.

Preferred: MBA or Master's degree in international business. Five or more years of corporate sales, Higher Ed recruitment experience or a related field. Good understanding of the nuances of marketing graduate education; consultative sales or recruitment experience. Strong interest in and aptitude for new technologies and devices.

This is a regular, exempt, 40 hour per week position.

Salary: Commensurate with experience
