The purpose of the Temporary Mail Clerk position is to provide support with heavy volume of packages at the beginning of the semester.


  • Collect, sort, route and distribute USPS mail. Verify addresses, postage, and condition of incoming and outgoing mail. Deliver mail and parcels to University departments and to the student mail center for pick up by students.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Uphold University mission through work performed.

Skills and Qualifications

Required: Ability to handle a PDA or phone device; ability to lift 50 lb. box. Ability to work a basic program on a computer.

This is a temporary, exempt, 40 hour per week position.

Salary: Commensurate with experience
