The Student Services Coordinator provides superior front-line customer service for current students, prospective students, and the general public.


  • Process registration, add/drop, and cross-registration forms
  • Maintain academic course schedule in PeopleSoft
  • Counsel current students on graduation requirements and other academic policies
  • Create and distribute class, attendance, and grade rosters
  • Provide assistance as data-entry and counseling back-up for admissions, including serving as a back-up tour guide for prospective students when needed
  • Monitor and respond to student inquiries to office email account, including processing bar forms and other record requests and keeping all students and grads files organized and updated
  • Uphold University mission through work performed
  • Represent Pepperdine Law at law and graduate school fairs, and events hosted by the Office of Admissions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

Required: Bachelor's degree; two years of general office experience; superior interpersonal skills; excellent communication skills; professional demeanor; ability to interact comfortably with high-level administrators, faculty, students, applicants, and alumni; ability to multi-task at a high level; able to perform under pressure of a high volume of task and traffic conditions; ability to use discretion when handling confidential and sensitive issues; strong attention to detail

Preferred: Experience in admissions or student information or in a law school; prior experience with PeopleSoft

This is a regular, nonexempt, 40 hour per week position.

Salary: Commensurate with experience
