This position provides administrative, programmatic and clerical support to the new Associate Dean of Student Affairs and Executive Director for Spiritual Life Programs


  • Provide administrative & clerical support; manage the operation of PeopleSoft budget system; organize Google docs, fulfill paperwork, assist with all scheduling events & meetings, etc. Manage and maintain Office of the Associate Dean for Student Affairs and Student Life Programs.
  • Oversee office supplies, organization, office milestones and celebrations, tidy atmosphere and office equipment for the entire suite. Provide office hospitality to all who enter the office (phones and greet at the door), Book rooms for entire office using 25 Live as needed.
  • Serve on Residential Emergency Response Team and provide on-site emergency response coordination of student activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

Required: Bachelor's Degree; proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.) and with Google programs (Docs, Calendar, etc.) required; strong typing and formal communication skills required. Two years of office management experience required; proven ability to create systems and organize forms for multiple events required; ability to balance professional customer service and pressing analytical duties in high traffic environment required. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills required; superior organizational skills and attention to detail required; proper phone and email etiquette required; ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines required; problem-solving skills.

Preferred: Office management and administration strongly preferred. Basic knowledge of PeopleSoft. Experience in planning and executing events. Office experience in a Christian university setting preferred. Proficiency in PeopleSoft, Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, etc. required; familiarity with Google products including Gmail, Docs, Forms, Calendar, etc. required; knowledge of basic office equipment including fax, scanner, copier, phone systems, computer, etc.
