Serve as primary point of contact and assist with special projects and the day-to-day administrative work essential for the smooth operation of the Assurance & Advisory Services and the Office of General Counsel.


  • Prepare, format, and distribute reports and correspondence.
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and reserve spaces for Assurance & Advisory Services and the Office of General Counsel.
  • Maintain departmental databases and websites.
  • Assist with projects by collecting and analyzing data, performing queries, and formatting spreadsheets.
  • Coordinate the hiring and supervision of student workers in Assurance and Advisory Services.
  • Assist Assurance & Advisory Services and the Office of General Counsel with office administration, including but not limited to ordering office supplies, substantiating credit cards, and receiving service of subpoenas and records requests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Uphold the University mission through work performed.

Skills and Qualifications

Required: Bachelor's Degree Strong written and verbal communication skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Adobe Acrobat; superior interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, students, attorneys, and University administrators; ability to organize, prioritize, and perform work while under pressure; and the ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive matters. Computer, fax, scanner, printer, phone, copier.

Preferred: 2 years Experience as administrative/project coordinator, executive secretary or administrative assistant; knowledge of basic website updating/maintenance.

This is a Regular, Nonexempt, 40 hour per week position.

Salary: Commensurate with experience.
