The position exists to support the PGBS Admission Processing unit by managing and facilitating the application submission, completion, and decision process for candidates seeking admission to PGBS programs. Working closely with both external (applicants) and internal stakeholders(program admission committees, program offices, and within the Admission and Enrollment Management infrastructure) the position helps to ensure the smooth and timely progression of the application and admission processes leading to the successful enrollment of students into PGBS programs.

This position enables the admission staff to maintain operational excellence, contributes to effective enrollment management, and helps to achieve customers' satisfaction with admission related services.

Duties

  • Process Graziadio program admission applications and all pertinent materials. Audit uploaded application data. Evaluate educational transcripts, test scores, and other items required for admission eligibility. Manage the application review and decision process within existing systems and software (Salesforce, Etrieve and Peoplesoft).
  • Provide information regarding admission requirements to internal and external customers. Monitor application statuses and handle follow-up communication with applicants, as needed. Generate weekly application decision reports.
  • Manage file completion projects including permanent file transfer to the Registrar''s Office. Assist with reporting of departmental activities, processes, and key performance indicators.
  • Assist with the monitoring of the departmental email inbox and general mail.
  • Engage in and support operations enhancement projects and initiatives on behalf of own department and the broader division of Enrollment Management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Uphold University mission through work performed.

Skills and Qualifications

Required: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 2 years in admission, recruitment, or student services. Must be detail-oriented and result-driven with strong organizational, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills. Must be customer service oriented and a team-player with a strong ability to plan and prioritize. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Points, familiarity with imaging systems. Must be able to quickly assimilate new software, student information system, CRM, and portals.

Preferred: Master's Degree. Three or more years of proven track record in higher education admission, administration, recruitment, and student systems. Proven track-record showing ability to work in fast-paced education administration or student services environment. Proficiency in PeopleSoft, Nolij, Outlook, and scanning equipment is preferred.

This is a Restricted, Nonexempt, 40 hour per week position.

Salary: Commensurate with experience.
