The Financial & Meal Plan Coordinator will contribute to the success of the department through daily and ongoing administrative tasks. This position is primarily focused on supporting the Associate Director of Occupancy and Systems and the Financial and Systems Analyst. Additionally, this position helps to facilitate the ongoing and day-to-day processes of meal plan management, communication with students, and processing of financial charges. This position will also process all internal requisitions, invoices, and credit card substantiation and reallocations for Housing and Residence Life. This position will work with the Director of Housing Operations, and Housing and Residence Life departmental staff.

As a staff member in Student Affairs who works closely with students, this person serves as a Christian role model to students.


  • Process credit card substantiations and reallocations.
  • Assist with information service support, analytical reporting, general system processes, and financial accounting.
  • Assist in the enrollment of meal plans and meal plan changes.
  • Process internal requisitions and invoices,  
  • Respond to student inquiries regarding meal plan information  
  • Process billings for residence hall rates and dining meal plans.
  • Support Housing and Residence Life Directors as needed.
  • Provide program support to supervisory, professional, and administrative staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Uphold University mission through work performed.

Skills and Qualifications

Required: Required: Bachelor Degree Required. Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of residential systems and processes. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. Ability to troubleshoot, problem solve, prioritize, and evaluate next steps. Skilled at de-escalating concerns. Enthusiastic and positive demeanor; ability to establish work priorities; strong communication skills both verbal and written; and knowledge of office procedures. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) & Google Suite.

Preferred: Preferred: Experience with: 25Live, PeopleSoft, StarRez, and PeopleSoft.

Salary: Commensurate with experience.
