This position supports students’ academic development at the undergraduate level as they explore their God-given gifts as young artists. In addition, this position mentors student workers preparing them to become servant-minded leaders in their chosen professions.


  • Coordinate all divisional events including but not limited to concerts, recitals, master classes, lectures, etc. 
  • Use 25Live/Excel/Google and other university systems.
  • Organize and plan rehearsals, and other event needs. Process requests with internal/external departments.
  • Maintain several calendars and spreadsheets for Fine Arts events. 
  • Coordinate event details with faculty and staff members. 
  • Coordinate Lindhurst Load-In scheduling through 25Live. 
  • Assist Office Manager with Kronos e-signature and tracking. 
  • Review and manage student worker hiring profiles as well as other student worker assigned tasks. 
  • Write standard operating procedures. 
  • Update training manuals. Assist/maintain tasks assigned by the Office Manager. 
  • Support faculty, staff, and students.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Uphold University mission through work performed.

Skills and Qualifications

Required: Bachelor’s degree with two years of event coordinating experience; Proficiency in written and oral communication; Able to follow directions and implement procedures thoroughly and efficiently; Strong communication skills with written and edited skills; Excellent telephone etiquette; Multitask and focus in a very hectic environment; Able to consistently inform supervisors of their project status; Candidates who have mastered the ability to plan, schedule, review, and manage their daily tasks are preferred in this high-paced environment; Developed organizational skills demonstrating the ability to coordinate tasks in multiple rooms within separate buildings; Ability to maintain a calm and professional attitude; proficiency in both written and oral communication; Able to follow directions and implement procedures thoroughly and efficiently; Interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and ability to use good judgment; Able to use MAC/PC, adobe, and Google suite applications; Able to use a multi-line telephone system with voice-mail, photocopier, scanner, lamination, labeling, and participate in Zoom presentations; Other software will need to be learned on the job.

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree with three years experience as an Administrative Assistant or Event Coordinator; Use and proficiency of 25Live; Use and proficiency of Kronos; Use of proficiency of Google Suite; PeopleSoft System knowledge in the financial and student modules; Aptitude for quickly learning new software and computer systems such as E-Sign, ADP, College Net, etc.; Knowledge of social media programs.

This is a Regular, Nonexempt, 40 hour per week position.

Salary: Commensurate with experience
