Librarian for Digital Publishing, Curation, and Conversion Malibu Campus
The Pepperdine Libraries seeks an energetic, skilled individual to fill the important position of Librarian for Digital Publishing, Curation and Conversion. Reporting to the Dean of Libraries, the Librarian plays a leading role in the presentation of Pepperdine's unique collections and scholarly output to the world and works closely with special collections and university archives personnel to identify, research, and prioritize materials for ingest into digital collections. Following best practices, the Librarian devises digitization workflows and metadata schema appropriate to the diverse content in our collections, collaborates with library staff, and supervises interns and student workers. The Librarian maintains and expands Pepperdine's digital collections and actively seeks out and defines new collections based on both digitized and born-digital content, building community partnerships and pursuing external funding in order to further diversify the collections. The Librarian also manages Pepperdine's institutional repository and digital publications platform, both of which are powered by Digital Commons (bepress). These initiatives are designed to promote Pepperdine scholarly communications, and involve a significant effort in outreach and coordination with Pepperdine administrators, faculty, and students. Additional responsibilities include supervising the Librarian for Emerging Technology and Digital Projects, managing relationships and contracts with vendors, and developing and implementing digital preservation strategies.
Technology Trainer Malibu Campus
Works closely with the Manager of Technology & Learning and IT Training to assess the technology training needs of constituents using university-wide technology and to create, lead, and promote a culture of continual learning and digital literacy at Pepperdine University.
Executive Director, Davenport Institute Malibu Campus
The executive director of the Davenport Institute for Public Engagement and Civic Leadership leads a uniquely positioned, university-based institute at the forefront of a movement to engage the full diversity of residents in solving local government challenges. With the support of the Pepperdine School of Public Policy and an advisory council composed largely of local government practitioners, the executive director will lead the Institute’s mission to help build stronger communities by promoting public participation in local governance. The executive director oversees the Institute’s three major program areas: training, thought leadership, and convening. In addition to managing budget and programs, the executive director seeks new opportunities for program development, strategic partnerships, and fundraising. They will serve as supervisor for the Davenport Institute staff (including student employees) and oversight of consultant and partner efforts. In addition, the executive director seeks to expose Pepperdine School of Public Policy students to this important field through a variety of student-facing activities as well as connections to local government professional development, mentors, and internship and job opportunities.
Director of RISE Malibu Campus
The Director of the RISE program leads resilience education efforts (in dimensions of physical, spiritual, cognitive, social service and life-skills) that contribute to student success and ultimately lives of purpose, service, and leadership.
Senior Developer, Application Development Malibu Campus
The Senior Developer supports the University by creating custom software applications as well as integrating and/or implementing third-party software. They also provide mentorship for other developers, including student workers and interns.
Assistant/Associate Provost, Assessment & Institutional Effectiveness Malibu Campus
This position directs University-wide activities related to assessment, program review, and institutional effectiveness at Pepperdine. Provides supervision and leadership for the Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE) team. Works with variety of academic and administrative groups in guiding assessment and program review. This position creates a vision and provides the overall leadership for development and implementation of integrated enterprise-wide assessment, planning, and effectiveness programs. Oversees services provided to faculty, students, staff, and external accreditation entities across the university.
IT Support Assistant: Foster Grandparent Program (FGP) West LA Campus
The Information Technology (IT) Support Assistant provides technology support to the Executive Director and program staff, in order to effectively implement the Foster Grandparent Program. Responsible for IT support and training for the FGP staff, over 150 Senior Corps members, and over 30 station partners. Manage emergency communication and all technology systems to ensure program efficiency and effectiveness. Research, develop, and implement technology strategies that will help increase overall program productivity.

Senior ERP Developer, EIS Calabasas Campus
Individuals within the ERP Applications Development career progression work closely with clients, business analysts, and team members to understand the business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions for the development and operation of ERP systems. They typically design, test and debug ERP software, while also providing client support, consultation, and subject matter expertise for day-to-day operations, maintenance and support. ERP developers ensure that all ERP applications are in compliance with the organization's architectural standards. ERP Applications Developers configure, analyze, design, develop, and maintain ERP program codes and applications to support business processes and functions. They also work on elements of large, complex installations. ERP Applications Development professionals typically design, test, and debug ERP software. They assist in such day-to-day operations as troubleshooting problems arising from regular use, production support, and maintaining the ERP platform. They develop scripts for data merging and migration and assist in the development of ERP interfaces to internal and external systems. ERP developers have experience in systems design and have a solid understanding of application development, database development, application, and system testing, and integration methodologies. University Field Supervisor Pool- Graduate School of Education and Psychology M.A. in Teaching West LA Campus
The University Field Supervisor (UFS) serves as a liaison between candidates, mentor teachers, and university personnel. They support, observe, and evaluate multiple or single subject pre-service teacher candidates for effective practices and dispositions toward teaching. UFS positions are temporary positions, based on need and availability in a geographical area. Pepperdine UFSs hold an important role in helping teacher candidates successfully navigate the transition from student to educator by supporting, observing, conferencing, providing constructive criticism, and walking alongside them in their clinical experiences.
