The Assistant Director, Employee Relations and Workers Compensation promotes a healthy and effective workplace by managing conflict, requests for accommodation, and injuries to resolution. Overseeing all aspects of employee relations includes, but is not limited to, coaching supervisors, assisting with departmental reorganizations, overseeing separations, and assisting with workplace investigations. This position is also responsible for managing the workers' compensation program, including communicating with various internal and external parties, facilitating an employee's return to work, reporting injuries appropriately, and promoting workplace safety, among others. Other duties include facilitating employee requests for accommodation, overseeing absenteeism trends, continually providing superior customer service, and other duties as assigned.

The Strategic Project Associate serves the Pepperdine community in administrative support and special project assignments throughout the University. This position formally reports to Human Resources and moves between short-term assignments in University departments as needed and as appropriate. In this position, the Strategic Project Associate will be exposed to and gain an understanding of many university departments and functions. Event Coordinator, MA Clinical Psychology Professional Development West LA Campus
The purpose of this position is to provide support to Pepperdine University's West Los Angeles and Malibu Drescher Graduate Campus for events hosted by the Graduate School of Education and Psychology. This person will obtain and schedule presenters for monthly psychology workshops at the Pepperdine University's West Los Angeles and Malibu Drescher Graduate Campuses.
