Accountant Malibu Campus
This position supports the University's mission because successful project and facilities management for University planning and operations requires financial oversight on a continual basis. This department assists in construction, remodel, furniture and campus planning requests. This position will be responsible for a broad array of business functions related to the operations of POC, Design and Construction (DDC) and Facilities Services (DFS). This position manages all financial matters for POC, DDC, and DFS, including analyzing financial information and preparing financial reports.
Building Maintenance Technician, Second Shift Malibu Campus
Under direction of the Manager of Mechanical Services and Lead Technician for the Department of Facilities Services (DFS), and in collaboration with your colleagues, perform various skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance of machinery, buildings, and equipment throughout campus facilities during the night shift on assigned days of the week from 3:15 pm to 12:00 am. Shall perform work at a skilled level in several trades including carpentry, plumbing, minor electrical, and mechanical, and do related work as required. Collaborate with DFS and other University departments to deliver high quality work and customer service in a timely manner.
Data Analyst, Marketing West LA Campus

Divisional Director of Institutional Effectiveness West LA Campus
The Graduate School of Education and Psychology (GSEP) Education Division is seeking an experienced and dynamic education professional to lead their accreditation and program assessment efforts.  The Director will provide leadership, in cooperation with Seaver College and GSEP faculty, the Associate Dean’s office and the program directors in Education Programs, both at Seaver College and GSEP, in the further design and development of the University’s overall assessment program with a priority given to academic assessment. The Director will assist in the development of systems to gather for Education Programs at Seaver College and GSEP needed data using LiveText, will assist in gathering unit-wide and program-specific data, and will be involved in the analysis of data and other information in order for the Education Programs to function more effectively and meet its mission and learning outcomes. The Director will also serve as the accreditation liaison with the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) to help meet accreditation requirements. In addition, the Director will perform support services for the Education academic departments at Seaver College and GSEP; work on various committees; and engage in a program of professional development, scholarship, and research. The Human Resources department, of Pepperdine University, maintains a list of individuals with strong general office, clerical and administrative skills who are available, often at short notice, to serve short-term, temporary assignments in various University departments. Assignments are available on multiple campuses, and lengths generally range from one day to several weeks. Working as a member of the Temporary Pool is an excellent way to become more familiar with Pepperdine, its people, campuses and values.
Temporary Residential Custodian Malibu Campus
The Residential Custodian physically completes the various tasks required to maintain assigned buildings and areas, generally, but not exclusively, within the student residential community, in a clean and orderly condition. A person in this position engages in the work of cleaning campus facilities, according to instructions and/or documented best practices. This work includes performing heavy cleaning duties, such as: cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, cleaning showers and restroom, cleaning stoves and gas bar-b-que grills, cleaning laundry rooms, emptying all interior trash containers and removing litter and rubbish from building front ad rear entrances. Duties also include reporting an safety concerns or unsafe conditions that require correction, or any other items needing repairs. The Residential Custodian is also responsible for ensuring that all work is accomplished in a safe manner at all times, in compliance with adopted standards, and for striving to produce the best possible results. Occasionally, the work assigned to Residential Custodian requires that person to work in facilities outside of the student residential community, sometimes including traveling to other locations. The person in this position also completes the cleaning of some exterior areas with the student apartment hallways as an example.
Director, Intercultural Affairs Malibu Campus
The Director of Intercultural Affairs is responsible for a wide variety of administrative, advisory, and supervisory duties related to intercultural and diversity education programs, student services, and the college student experience. Librarian for Emerging Technology and Digital Projects Malibu Campus
The Librarian for Emerging Technology and Digital Projects spearheads the selection and implementation of emerging technology for Pepperdine Libraries. Through managing the Academic Center for Excellence and co-directing the Genesis Lab makerspace, this position is responsible for developing and executing programs that make use of emerging technology in order to support and advance technology-based information seeking and knowledge navigation.
Landscaper Malibu Campus
Maintain University grounds by completing assigned landscape maintenance or grounds keeping activities, such as litter and trash removal; planting and maintaining ornamental trees, shrubs, flowers, lawns, and hardscape; as well as applying fertilizers, pesticides, and other chemicals, according to instructions or documented best practices. The completion of other work including campus brush clearance, erosion control, preparation of campus areas for special events, and other special project work is also a responsibility of this position. The Landscaper physically completes the various tasks required to maintain the university grounds. This work includes, but is not limited to: mowing, trimming, cutting, blowing, watering, power washing, etc. The Landscaper is responsible for ensuring that all work is accomplished in a safe manner at all times, in compliance with adopted standards, while striving to produce the best possible results. The Landscaper is also responsible for answering inquiries from visitors or university community members regarding methods and materials, or general inquiries about the university, in a professional manner.
