Under direction of the Irrigation Lead in the Department of Facilities Services (Facilities), perform all aspects of the University’s Hydrological Monitoring Program (HMP). Under general supervision of the Lead Irrigation Specialist of Landscape Services for the Department of Facilities Services (“DFS”), and in collaboration with your colleagues, assist in maintaining the University grounds by completing assigned irrigation system maintenance activities, and related tasks to ensure the success and good appearance of campus landscaping.
Landscaper Malibu Campus
Maintain University grounds by completing assigned landscape maintenance or grounds keeping activities, such as litter and trash removal; planting and maintaining ornamental trees, shrubs, flowers, lawns, and hardscape; as well as applying fertilizers, pesticides, and other chemicals, according to instructions or documented best practices. The completion of other work including campus brush clearance, erosion control, preparation of campus areas for special events, and other special project work is also a responsibility of this position. The Landscaper physically completes the various tasks required to maintain the university grounds. This work includes, but is not limited to: mowing, trimming, cutting, blowing, watering, power washing, etc. The Landscaper is responsible for ensuring that all work is accomplished in a safe manner at all times, in compliance with adopted standards, while striving to produce the best possible results. The Landscaper is also responsible for answering inquiries from visitors or university community members regarding methods and materials, or general inquiries about the university, in a professional manner.
Welcome Center Coordinator Malibu Campus
The Welcome Center Coordinator serves as a front line staff member, providing administrative and clerical support to The Office of Admission. This position is the first point of contact for prospective students and families, assisting with the campus visit check-in process and answering visitor questions. The Welcome Center Coordinator oversees the scheduling and coordination of group tours. This position is charged to represent the University mission to prospective students, parents, counselors, donors, and other visitors as a University ambassador.
Manager, Records and Enrollment for Online Programs West LA Campus
The Manager of Records and Enrollment for Online programs would be responsible for registration setup, maintain accurate student records, process enrollment requests, audit class rosters, and secure grades for the online psychology programs at GSEP.
