Communications and Programming Assistant Malibu Campus
The Communications and Programming Assistant provides clerical and administrative support for Programming and Public Affairs activities in the Pepperdine University Libraries. This position supports the development and execution of lectures, events, exhibits, and other programming taking places in the Libraries; assists with planning and scheduling content for the Pepperdine Libraries' print and web presence, including social media, newsletter, blog, and website; maintains event calendars on various channels for programming sponsored by the library; assists in correspondence with donors, project partners, on-campus collaborators, and visitors through e-mail, in person, and on the phone; maintains donor files and processes gift and donation paperwork; helps with tracking statistics related to programming and marketing; assists with overseeing student workers, as needed; and performs other duties as assigned. This position reports to the Director for Library Programming and Public Affairs. Most events take place during working hours, Monday-Friday. Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required.
Center for Applied Research (CAR) Project Manager and Analyst West LA Campus
Under the supervision of the Director for the Center for Applied Research (CAR), the project manager and analyst provides support on a broad range of tasks in order to accomplish functions, goals and objectives. The primary focus of the position is to support the CAR Director on important projects, to elevate the research output of the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School (PGBS), including the target journal list, analysis of research output for the School's Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accreditation, brokering of research opportunities between industry and faculty, and the working paper series.
Temporary Marketing Specialist, Executive Education West LA Campus
The Executive Education Marketing Specialist will be responsible for creating, planning, executing and managing the marketing portfolio for the Executive Education department at the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School. This role will coordinate marketing outreach and strategy for both web and print needs, gather and interpret marketing analytics and collaborate closely with Executive Education and Marketing teams. A successful applicant will possess basic concepts of marketing and communication, including web page updates, social media purchasing, copy writing, graphic design and marketing analytics. This position will report to the Director of Operations, Executive Education. This assignment has an anticipated duration of six months.
Junior Web Developer Calabasas Campus
This position will interact directly with internal customers to understand software requirements, create proof-of-concepts and build production-quality programming code. The Junior Developer will use their skills with HTML, CSS, to support our web platforms across the university. This position supports the University’s mission by developing websites that promote our brand to our major audiences as well as creating functionality that drives some of our essential recruitment and alumni systems via the web. Student Success Coordinator Malibu Campus
Under the general supervision of the Director of Student Engagement and Success, the Student Success Coordinator collaborates with stakeholders to coordinate a range of initiatives that contribute to strengthening the writing, communication, and academic success of graduate students at the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School (PGBS). The coordinator develops methods for assessing the academic support needs of students and implements and/or facilitates access to resources to address them. The Office of Student Engagement and Success (SES) drives initiatives and experiences designed to support, nurture, and enhance the student experience at PGBS. As an integral member of SES, the coordinator works both independently and collaboratively with students, staff, faculty, and other School/University departments in service of the Graziadio School mission to prepare students to become Best for the World leaders.
Academic Advisor, Full-Time Program Administration Malibu Campus

The Graphic Designer plays a vital role in leading the creative communication process for Pepperdine University and its five schools. As part of Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) at Pepperdine, this position is responsible for many of the University's key communications pieces and serves as a valuable communication liaison for the team. Under the supervision of the Creative Director, the Graphic Designer will assist the IMC staff and University stakeholders in designing communications pieces that reach Pepperdine’s largest, external audiences. The Graphic Designer has the ability to ideate, conceptualize, and analyze in order to create professional level designs. Research Associate/Senior Research Associate Malibu Campus
Reporting directly to the Director of Institutional Research, the Research Associate/Senior Research Associate (based on incumbent experience) will support the Office of Institutional Effectiveness’ mission by providing, managing, and interpreting institutional data for university decision-making. Landscaper Malibu Campus
Maintain University grounds by completing assigned landscape maintenance or grounds keeping activities, such as litter and trash removal; planting and maintaining ornamental trees, shrubs, flowers, lawns, and hardscape; as well as applying fertilizers, pesticides, and other chemicals, according to instructions or documented best practices. The completion of other work including campus brush clearance, erosion control, preparation of campus areas for special events, and other special project work is also a responsibility of this position. The Landscaper physically completes the various tasks required to maintain the university grounds. This work includes, but is not limited to: mowing, trimming, cutting, blowing, watering, power washing, etc. The Landscaper is responsible for ensuring that all work is accomplished in a safe manner at all times, in compliance with adopted standards, while striving to produce the best possible results. The Landscaper is also responsible for answering inquiries from visitors or university community members regarding methods and materials, or general inquiries about the university, in a professional manner.
