International Programs Office Coordinator Malibu Campus
As Pepperdine seeks to be a preeminent global university, the university endeavors to send as many students abroad as possible for transformational life experiences and to best support them in their preparation process. The International Programs Office Coordinator helps to ensure we best serve students, parents, and other stakeholders in the community as students consider studying abroad or are preparing for a study abroad program. This position manages and supports office operations, supports student marketing and student development programs and projects, manages student employees, and provides assistance to the IP Malibu Office Director.
Drescher Library Public Services Supervisor Malibu Campus
The Drescher Library Public Services Supervisor oversees daytime library operations, supervises student workers, and opens the library. This position works cooperatively with other departments in the library to provide excellent customer service, check in and out library materials, and obtain faculty-requested physical reserves. This position contributes to the mission of the university by supporting the learning, research, and teaching needs of faculty, students, and staff. The earliest start date for this position is August 2, 2021.
Associate Director of Admission Malibu Campus
The Associate Director of Admission supervises the admission counselors for Seaver College, including but not limited to, goal setting, strategies, and cultivating a thriving working culture. The Associate Director manages personnel, chairs the Admission Committee, and serves on a variety of other committees. This position has a direct role in shaping the admitted class and determining and executing enrollment goals for Seaver College. They are responsible for cultivating brand awareness and volume at the top of the recruitment funnel. This position directly supports Goals 2, 4, and 5 of the strategic plan by attracting mission-fit applicants from diverse communities who see the value of a Seaver investment. Attention to counseling students about college access and fit with the university's many offerings enhance customer service and student satisfaction, forming alumni who will in turn expand the Pepperdine family on a global scale, consistent with Goal 3.
Clinical Program Manager Malibu Campus
This position supports the Clinical Education Program and Global Programs at the Caruso School of Law. This includes administrative work for the Clinical Program's academic components, professional law practice, and clinical faculty, and it includes managing systems related to budgets, grants, enrollment, events, communication, data management, and compliance. The position also supports CSOL Global Programs through work with budgets, recruiting, enrollment, events, and administration. This position contributes to the University’s mission and strategic plan by maintaining, expanding, and improving the capacity of the Clinical Education Program to provide experiential learning and professional formation for students and access to justice for clients, and by improving and expanding the CSOL Global Programs to provide international, culturally-competent, mission-driven education for CSOL students.
Assurance and Administrative Specialist Malibu Campus
This position assists with the various tasks associated with assurance projects including data analysis. Assistant Vice Chancellor and Senior Director of Development, Caruso School of Law Malibu Campus
The Assistant Vice Chancellor and Senior Director of Development will have primary responsibility for developing, organizing, leading, and implementing a comprehensive fundraising program and strategies for the Caruso School of Law and plays an important front-line fundraising role. As a major gift officer, this position will be expected to personally raise major gifts in support of the dean’s fundraising priorities, focusing on donors with a capacity of $100K to $1M+. In addition, the Assistant Vice Chancellor and Senior Director of Development will mentor and supervise the Director, Law Associates, the annual giving officer at the Caruso School of Law whose primary focus is on gifts of $1K to $25K. Diversity & Strategic Initiatives Event Coordinator Malibu Campus
The Event Coordinator provides support to the Event Manager at the School of Law. In addition, the Event Coordinator will serve as the coordinating lead on various Law School events, including those for the online programs and office of diversity and belonging. Contribution to the University's mission and strategic plan is made by coordinating a diverse array of high-quality events by helping students explore and identify their purpose in the legal profession, enhancing the School of Law’s reputation, and introducing new speakers to the School of Law community.
Enrollment Outreach and Partnerships Officer West LA Campus
This role manages recruitment outreach and strategic partnerships to contribute to the development of the strategic and tactical marketing and recruitment plan, which is developed collaboratively with the marketing team. The officer builds strategic community relationships and is responsible for coordination of outreach projects and various community outreach activities, sponsorships, and events. Provides important insights and recommendations, based on his/her data and experience, for achieving the annual enrollment goals. Works with Marketing and Enrollment teams to generate leads and ensure contact with individuals who have indicated an interest in the assigned programs. Academic Data Coordinator and Assistant to the Senior Associate Dean Malibu Campus
The purpose of this position is to assist the Senior Associate Dean and support the Seaver Deans Office. This position supports the University's mission and strategic plan through the assistance it provides to one of Seaver's key decision-makers, the Senior Associate Dean of the college. The person in this position also interacts directly with faculty and students, providing them with necessary tools and resources.
Student Accounts Coordinator West LA Campus
The Student Accounts Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to deliver professional customer service to students regarding student accounts and related student issues and to maintain GSEP students’ accounts in accordance with the University established policies & federal regulations. The Director serves on Dean’s management team and manages the overall fiscal planning for the School. Onboarding and Employment Specialist Malibu Campus
The Onboarding and Employment Specialist serves as a Human Resources ambassador to University employees regarding all details involved in the onboarding and separation process. This position will manage the post-job offer onboarding process, guiding employees through new hire tasks, and acting as their primary contact for questions related to their employment, both in their first weeks and throughout their tenure at Pepperdine. Advancement oversees relationships between Pepperdine and its students, alumni, parents, and friends. The Gift Coordinator must maintain positive relationships with both the internal audience and external audience. This position also plays a role in ensuring that gifts are processed in a timely, accurate manner and that gifts are accessible to staff through the optical imaging system. This position requires accuracy to maintain the integrity and high standards of the University.
