In this 10-month position, July 16-May 15, Resident Directors (RDs) serve as ministers, professionals, mentors, educators, and scholar-practitioners. This position contributes to and supports the University's mission and strategic plan by enhancing the learning experience and by fostering a safe, caring, respectful, and dynamic residential community. Resident Directors oversee 12-15 student leaders including Resident Advisors (RAs) and Spiritual Life Advisors (SLAs); develop communities of 250-300 freshmen, sophomores, or upperclassmen/graduate students; and provide support to campus via an on-call RD rotation.

Divisional Director of Institutional Effectiveness West LA Campus
The Graduate School of Education and Psychology (GSEP) Education Division and the Seaver College Teacher Preparation Program are seeking an experienced and dynamic education professional to lead their accreditation and program assessment efforts.  The Director will provide leadership, in cooperation with Seaver College and GSEP faculty, the Associate Dean’s office and the program directors in Education Programs, both at Seaver College and GSEP, in the further design and development of the University’s overall assessment program with a priority given to academic assessment. The Director will assist in the development of systems to gather for Education Programs at Seaver College and GSEP needed data using Watermark, will assist in gathering unit-wide and program-specific data, and will be involved in the analysis of data and other information in order for the Education Programs to function more effectively and meet its mission and learning outcomes. The Director will also serve as the accreditation liaison with the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) to help meet accreditation requirements. In addition, the Director will perform support services for the Education academic departments at Seaver College and GSEP; work on various committees; and engage in a program of professional development, scholarship, and research.
