Jr. Web Developer Calabasas Campus
This entry-level position was created to provide additional technological support to the web-based technology operations of the University. This position will interact directly with internal customers to understand software requirements, create proof-of-concepts and build production-quality programming code. The Jr. Developer will use their skills with HTML, CSS, to support our web platforms across the university. This position supports the University’s mission by developing websites that promote our brand to our major audiences as well as creating functionality that drives some of our essential recruitment and alumni systems via the web. Our IMC team and this Jr Web Developer position align our entire approach for marketing and communications around the mission and strategic goals. Major systems and initiatives involving this position include web redesign, web server administration, mobile and email.
Head of Reference Services and Access Services Malibu Campus
The position oversees and manages all law library reference and research training, all access services functions (i.e., circulation, reserves), and works collaboratively with other members of the library team on general collection management. The position contributes to the University’s mission, strategic plan, and Christian values by supporting Law School student learning, faculty scholarship, and staff research efforts with excellent customer service.
Adjunct Professor (Contract/Hourly) Pool- West LA and Malibu Campuses Malibu Campus, West LA Campus
The adjunct professor serves a key role in ensuring program excellence for the MAT (Master of Arts in Teaching) Program at GSEP. They work directly with students by teaching assigned classes, planning course content and assignments that align with program syllabi, collaborating with faculty and staff, and giving feedback to students through graded and in-class classroom activities. Their record-keeping in class and on Courses (Sakai) is essential for institutional effectiveness.
Director, Special Programs Malibu Campus
The Special Programs Director is responsible for increasing auxiliary revenue through efficient, mission-aligned use of the Malibu campus by outside clients and university-generated programs.
Director, Pepperdine Associates Program Malibu Campus
The Director, Pepperdine Associates Program is responsible for all mailings, generating annual gift reminders, reports, and membership information associated with annual donors who are part of the Pepperdine Associates Program. The Associates Program is highly individualized and requires one central office to produce monthly gift reminders while working with prospect managers from across the five schools and athletics to ensure accuracy. Working with the Annual Gift, Major Gift, and Principal Gift Officers, the Director, Pepperdine Associates Program helps them secure and retain annual donors from $1,000 to $50,000 for the University through the Associates Program. This position is also responsible for coordinating member benefits, and the recognition of annual donors through plaques, the donor recognition wall, Associates events and special opportunities, and the title list in the Pepperdine Associates Dinner Program. The Director, Pepperdine Associates Program will also work closely with the Pepperdine Associates Dinner planning committee to coordinate and produce the annual dinner. Executive Director, Seaver College Career Center Malibu Campus
Seaver College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences at Pepperdine University seeks the next Executive Director of the Seaver College Career Center. The center is a leader among its peers and a program of great importance as the career readiness of students is one of the college’s highest priorities. The Center offers innovative career education programs to a diverse undergraduate population of approximately 3,400 students, develops and maintains strategic employer partnerships across industries, and manages a menu of cutting-edge technologies that equip students for career and internship success. The executive director must be able to cast a vision to continue the forward progress of the center, be eager to continue current programs that are driving success, and to be a trailblazer for new initiatives. The preferred candidate will have successfully led a complex department with multiple direct reports and have experience supervising and managing a diverse array of programs and operations. The next executive director will be responsible for the center’s menu of technology resources and be able to identify new technologies as needed, as well as implement and integrate them into the center’s portfolio. He or she will manage career outcomes data collection and reporting, as well as the assessment activities of the center. The next executive director will be able to represent the career center and build partnerships across the institution and among alumni, board members and friends. The ideal candidate will be active in regional and national career organizations and will strongly support the Mission of Pepperdine University as a Christian role model. The Career Center is an integral unit at the College and reports to the office of the Seaver Dean and directly to the assistant dean of graduate and special academic programs.
Special Collections Assistant Malibu Campus
The Special Collections Assistant will contribute to the success of the department by arranging and describing archival collections of cultural significance, providing research services, completing special projects, and assisting the department with administrative tasks. Duties include: 1. Process and catalog collections of multiple formats, especially in the areas of Malibu history and art history. 2. Carry out all archival processing tasks for selected collections, including arrangement, description, finding aid creation, preservation, and re-housing. 3. Provide research services, including monitoring the research room and answering reference questions, especially in the area of Malibu history. 4. Complete special projects related to the Malibu Historical Collection and the Starr Art and Music Collection. 5. Complete departmental administrative tasks.
Assistant Director of Planning, Operations, and Construction Malibu Campus
Under general supervision of the Executive Director of Planning, Operations, and Construction (POC), manages, evaluates and implements University projects fall sizes, including resource allocation. Oversees process and procedures related to design, construction management, contract administration, permitting, and document management. Under the direction of the Director of the Department of Facilities Services (DFS), manages all aspects of the Custodial Services division to ensure an efficiently functioning, safe, and clean environment in which the University can live, learn, and work. Manage Custodial Services personnel and budget and oversee relevant cleaning, pest control, waste management and event support processes. Collaborate with DFS and other University department to initiate and deliver high-quality projects in a timely manner.
Drescher Graduate Campus Librarian Malibu Campus
The Drescher Graduate Campus Librarian is a key member of the team of librarians and staff who together manage the operations of the graduate campus libraries at Pepperdine University. The Drescher Graduate Campus Librarian works under the direction of the Dean of Libraries and reports to the Associate University Librarian for Public Services and is responsible for carrying out services to support learning, research, and teaching. The Librarian works closely with colleagues on the Malibu campus and with colleagues at Pepperdine graduate campus locations around the Los Angeles area. The Librarian interacts with faculty in the Graduate Business and Public Policy Schools, and participates in the design and delivery of services and programs that promote use of the libraries collections, services and expertise.

Chief Systems and Database Administrator Calabasas Campus
This position will actively manage, maintain and troubleshoot the Peoplesoft and other ERP architecture environments including but not limited to production, development, and test. The individual will provide technical design, development and proactive maintenance of the Peoplesoft and the databases ensuring accessibility, security, and integrity of the company data.
