Financial Aid Advisor Malibu Campus
The Financial Aid Advisor is responsible for counseling undergraduate and graduate students and maintaining electronic student files. Counsel and assist both prospective and current students/parents on the financial assistance process. Analyze FAFSA data, federal IRS tax transcripts and financial verification documents. Establish financial need and generate financial assistance award packages including federal, state, institutional awards/loans accordingly. Perform verification on student files that are selected by the federal processors and on student files that are institutionally selected. Process both departmental and outside awards, as well as state grants. Responsible for knowing and following policies and regulations pertaining to all federal, state, university, and private financial assistance as applicable. Interact with departments to coordinate various student services. Uphold the University mission through work performed; and other related duties as assigned.

The Human Resources department, of Pepperdine University, maintains a list of individuals with strong general office, clerical and administrative skills who are available, often at short notice, to serve short-term, temporary assignments in various University departments. Assignments are available on multiple campuses, and lengths generally range from one day to several weeks.
Manager, Advancement Communications Malibu Campus
The Manager of Advancement Communications provides strategic, well-written, creative, and persuasive communications to support fundraising efforts for Pepperdine University and its advancement staff. Through informative and persuasive communications for print and digital resources, this position encourages many constituencies to support the mission of Pepperdine and the students we serve. The work of this position reflects and advances our mission and is used as a positive influence in making friends and raising funds for the University. The IT Manager, Technology & Learning works closely with the Director of Client Services to lead a university-wide strategic vision for technology and learning; serves as a vital member of Pepperdine's Technology and Learning group; consults with Faculty Steering Committee on structuring professional development offerings and aligning learning technologies to the university-wide strategic vision; works with undergraduate and graduate schools' internal instructional technology staff to develop instructional faculty development plans; researches advances in course development technologies; researches advances in instructional design; produces, schedules, promotes, and holds faculty professional development workshops and one-on-one consultations; showcases effective examples of technology and learning at annual Technology and Learning conference; leads the institution in disseminating best practices for teaching with technology in face-to-face classes, hybrid/blended classes, and fully online classes; performs other related duties as assigned.
Planned Giving Officer and Legal Counsel Malibu Campus
The Planned Giving Officer and Legal Counsel works with internal and external constituents to strengthen the fundraising work of the University, specifically the planned giving efforts of CEGP. By raising funds for, and increasing awareness of, the University's programs, schools, initiatives, needs and opportunities (as identified in the strategic plan and mission statement).

The Librarian for Digital Publishing, Curation and Conversion plays a leading role in the presentation of Pepperdine's unique collections and scholarly output to the world. The Librarian works closely with special collections and university archives personnel to identify, research, and prioritize materials for ingest into digital collections, which are powered by CONTENTdm. Following best practices, the Librarian devises scanning workflows and metadata schema appropriate to the diverse content in our collections, collaborates with library staff, and supervises interns and student workers. The Librarian maintains and expands Pepperdine's digital collections and actively seeks out and defines new collections based on both digitized and born-digital content. The Librarian also manages Pepperdine's institutional repository and digital publications platform, both of which are powered by Digital Commons (bepress). These initiatives are designed to promote Pepperdine scholarly communications, and involve a significant effort in outreach and coordination with Pepperdine administrators, faculty, and students.
