Competition Production Manager (Temporary) Malibu Campus
The Lisa Smith Wengler Center for the Arts at Pepperdine University invites applications for the Competition Production Manager (Temporary) for the Parkening International Guitar Competition. The Parkening International Guitar Competition is the preeminent classical guitar competition in the world. Held every four years, the competition brings 25 guitarists from throughout the world to Pepperdine’s campus. In 2019, the competition will be held from May 28 through June 1.   The Competition Production Manager is responsible for all day-to-day aspects of the competition. The Competition Production Manager reports to the Theatre Operations Manager, and works closely with the Managing Director and other staff members at the Center for the Arts. By supporting the competition, the Competition Production Manager helps to connect Pepperdine University and the richly varied communities of Los Angeles and surrounding communities while supporting the arts. The schedule for the Competition Production Manager is expected to be: March 4-May 3, 15-20 hours per week May 6-May 24, 30-40 hours per week May 25-June 2, housed on-site at Pepperdine with extensive early morning, late night, and continuous hours during the competition June 3-June 14, 15-20 hours per week

Associate Director, Pepperdine Fund Malibu Campus
The Associate Director, Pepperdine Fund oversees, manages, and coordinates the appeals campaigns required to support an effective year-round annual giving program with well-defined goals for cultivation, solicitation, retention and stewardship. This position requires a broad and diverse skill set and leadership abilities, with duties including interfacing with a variety of stakeholders across the University, supervising a team of exempt and hourly employees, interpreting and segmenting data, managing vendors and budgets, creating fundraising campaigns and written communications to Pepperdine’s diverse constituent base, and mastery of various technical platforms. The Associate Director aids the Director in providing the necessary strategic oversight and management for The Pepperdine Fund department to support the University's goal of creating a culture of philanthropy in order to produce a vibrant, sustainable, and growing alumni donor base. Annual giving from alumni not only supports the financial needs the University must fulfill to accomplish its strategic plan; it also counts as a proxy vote of satisfaction for Pepperdine and directly impacts University rankings.
Medical Assistant (MA) OR Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Malibu Campus
The Medical Assistant (MA) OR Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) performs back office duties including obtaining patient history; performing vital signs, phlebotomy, and preparing laboratory specimens; preparing patient for exam; assisting the practitioner; and providing patient education. Associate Director of Special Programs Malibu Campus
The Associate Director of Special Programs provides leadership, management, and oversight of revenue-generating programs with external and university clients. The Associate Director will be responsible for the management of a team of seasonal staff and coordinating components for the successful implementation of client services, including but not limited to contracts, insurance compliance, billing, AV technical assistance, and program expansion. An ability to create and maintain exceptional relationships with clients both internal and external to the University are essential to the position. Development of strong working relationships with campus partners, such as Housing and Residence Life, Dining Services, Public Safety, Information Technology, Facilities, Athletics, and more will also be required. Additionally, the Associate Director must be willing to work flexible hours, including late nights and weekends throughout the summer months and periodically during the school year. The incumbent will report to the Director of Special Programs and assist in strategizing efforts for increasing auxiliary revenue through efficient, mission-aligned use of the University's campuses and centers.
