Responsible for providing project management, technology management and enhanced processes that lead to greater student experience and engagement.

This position supports the mission of the school in developing values-centered leaders for contemporary practice through education that is entrepreneurial in spirit, ethical in focus, and global in orientation. Through counseling and leadership, resources are provided that help students and alumni discover and build careers of purpose, service and leadership.

Duties

  • Technology Lead:
    • Leads the development of new processes for greater student engagement and technology adoption.
    • Responsibilities include the development, enhancement, coordination and management of all career management tools and software, such as running reports and providing data analysis for the purposes of setting career development and employer outreach strategies.
    • Responsible for recommending, adopting, and implementing new technologies/software.
    • Trains students and staff on technologies.
  • Budget/Business Analyst:
    • Manages budgets and financial transactions, including all departmental reimbursements, travel arrangements, and the preparation/processing of university financial documents such as purchase orders for consultants, independent contractors and vendors; professional development events, conferences, case competitions, international wire transfers.
  • Communications :
    • Project lead for the weekly PGBS career Newsletter and official CPD LinkedIn account, listing job opportunities, upcoming events, and professional development advice; manages the internal marketing to students for the department. Additionally, this role communicates externally to employers, alumni, vendors, and general external inquiries.
    • Communicate with employers to qualify job postings, schedule on-campus visits, and submit candidate resumes. Disseminate regular communications to employers to keep them apprised of recruiting opportunities; coordinate campus events including, but not limited to, workshops, on-campus employer recruiting visits and information sessions, and off-campus employer visits.
    • Develop and write correspondence to students and alumni; answer phone and email inquiries from students and alumni, directing information, taking messages, and addressing issues as appropriate.
  • Marketing:
    • Provide Marketing support and event planning; coordinate emails and other forms of immediate communication with students and alumni; manage social media marketing for career events; create/design marketing materials to promote career events; and coordinate dissemination of department newsletter. Some evenings and weekends will be required related to coordination of special events.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Provide administrative support by maintaining calendar of events and department email accounts. 
  • Operations/Logistics:
    • Logistical support for our employer relations team and recruiting efforts. Handles the logistics for all events as well as the catering for recruiters' daily visits during on campus recruitment. Supports all on-campus events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Uphold the University mission through work performed.

Skills and Qualifications

Required: Bachelor’s degree; Two (2) years of experience in general administration. Self-awareness, resourcefulness, organization, empathy, and working with individuals and groups in an education or business setting; program development; Ability to work with many different cultural backgrounds. Proficiency in general office/desktop systems, Google, MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.); ability to plan/manage/facilitate classroom use of presentation tools, software, projection equipment, etc.

Preferred: Previous experience in career services, events, or marketing.

This is a Regular, Nonexempt, 40 hour per week position.

Salary:  Commensurate with experience.
