Research and Instruction Librarian Malibu Campus
The Research and Instruction Librarian provides research assistance to students and faculty, teaches information literacy classes, and serves as a liaison to faculty in assigned subject areas. Director of Business Administration Malibu Campus
The University’s director of business administration serves as a member of the Chief Business Officer’s leadership team and reports to the vice president and chief business officer. This position oversees short and long-term projects and assignments through various operational areas, including but not limited to business services, human resources, graduate campuses, real estate operations, governmental affairs, sustainability, and public safety, encompassing general business, financial, and operational aspects of these departments. This position also works closely with the chief operating officer; assistant vice president for administration and campus operations; general counsel; associate vice president for planning, operations, and construction; associate vice president of business services and human resources; executive director of business services administration; assistant vice president of governmental affairs and public safety; and others. The director of business administration works on institutional initiatives, coordinates presentations, and assists with the development of policies, analyses, benchmarks, reorganizations, and reports as needed. Highly developed analytic and strategic skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in multiple formats, especially writing, will be critically important. In great measure, this role depends on collaboration and cooperation. Relationship development and the ability to work seamlessly within established teams, without creating divisions and overcoming natural hesitancies, is crucial to success in this position. Professionalism with grace is imperative. University Field Supervisor Pool- Graduate School of Education and Psychology M.A. in Teaching West LA Campus
The University Field Supervisor (UFS) serves as a liaison between candidates, mentor teachers, and university personnel. They support, observe, and evaluate multiple or single subject pre-service teacher candidates for effective practices and dispositions toward teaching. UFS positions are temporary positions, based on need and availability in a geographical area. Pepperdine UFSs hold an important role in helping teacher candidates successfully navigate the transition from student to educator by supporting, observing, conferencing, providing constructive criticism, and walking alongside them in their clinical experiences. Communications Specialist Calabasas Campus
The communications specialist is a foundational role that increases awareness, understanding, and support of Pepperdine’s mission, vision, and accomplishments through an integrated communications and storytelling strategy. The role identifies, researches, and writes compelling content that promotes the University and its five schools for internal and external audiences, disseminating it across multiple platforms including print, digital, and social media. This position reports to the associate director of editorial. Integrated Marketing Communications is directly tasked with supporting the University’s mission and strategic plan by building brand equity, elevating the University’s national reputation, providing strong and consistent institutional message leadership, and implementing effective integrated marketing and communications strategies. The communications specialist fulfills an important role in helping the department accomplish its goals.
Supervisor, Mechanical Services Malibu Campus
Under the direction of the Senior Manager of Maintenance Services in the Department of Facilities Services (DFS), supervise assigned maintenance trade personnel to ensure an efficiently functioning, safe, and clean environment in which the University can live, learn, and work. Responsible for daily work prioritization, quality control, and customer communication. Supervise approximately 11 technicians and oversee relevant maintenance, project, and event support processes. Collaborate with DFS leadership to create a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Office Manager Malibu Campus
The Office Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of Pepperdine's Center for Estate and Gift Planning (CEGP), manages CEGP's outreach and event planning efforts, and provides administrative support to planned giving staff, all while maintaining a professional level of attention to detail, accuracy, timeliness, confidentiality, and discretion. By supporting the Center for Estate and Gift Planning, this position aids in the further development of advancement and planned giving efforts of the University.
Shuttle Driver Malibu Campus
Pepperdine University, a private, non-profit, faith-based institution, seeks a Shuttle Driver to safely transport students, faculty, staff, and guests to and from various destinations on and around Pepperdine's campus, serving those with accessibility needs following ADA regulations. This position serves as a front-line ambassador, upholding the University mission through work performed, warmly welcoming students, community members and guests, and providing directional information as needed. This position provides additional support to the Lead Shuttle Driver to cover schedules. Greeting each passenger with a smile is the first step to making them feel welcome on the Pepperdine campus. As a member of Pepperdine's Transit team, the Shuttle Driver will be one of the first, and most regular, faces interacting with our passengers. There will be occasions on which departments within the University will request off-campus special events that will require shuttle services. The incumbent will be expected to reflect Pepperdine's high customer service standards with a friendly and helpful demeanor.

Under the direction of the Mechanical Services Supervisor for the department of Facilities Services (DFS) and in collaboration with your colleagues, perform all duties related to the maintenance operation for all HVAC-R equipment throughout campus facilities.
Lead HVAC-R Technician, Mechanical Services Malibu Campus
Under the direction of the Senior Manager of Maintenance Services for the department of Facilities Services (DFS) and in collaboration with your colleagues, the Lead HVAC-R Technician acts as a lead to HVAC-R, pool, and appliance technicians. This position provides technical expertise and supervision to the Mechanical shop and other shop personnel. This position also schedules Work Orders for technicians, oversees relevant installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC-R, pool, appliance, and irrigation pump lift station systems, components, and fixtures throughout campus utilizing plans, manufacturer specifications, and verbal instructions.
Landscaper Malibu Campus
Under direction of the Lead Landscaper in the Department of Facilities Services (DFS), the Landscaper performs all aspects of University grounds maintenance for the Landscape Services division to ensure an aesthetically pleasing, safe, and clean University environment. This position collaborates with DFS and other University departments to complete assignments in a high-quality and timely manner.
