Controller Calabasas Campus

Reporting to the chief financial officer (CFO), the Controller is responsible for day-to-day finance operations and supervises a team of 35 staff members, including functional responsibility over accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cashier, collections, credit cards, finance systems, payroll, purchasing, and tax. The Controller ensures Pepperdine University has the internal controls, systems and procedures in place to safeguard assets, produce accurate and timely financial reporting, and support exceptional customer service. S/he will be the resident GAAP expert, with deep and current experience in financial reporting and fund accounting. In addition, the Controller will partner with the CFO to mentor and promote the professional development of all members of the Finance team.
Associate Director, Data Acquisition and Integrity Calabasas Campus
The Associate Director, Data Acquisition and Integrity will work with the Director of Advancement Services to supervise and manage all data acquisition and integrity projects for Advancement for the purpose of maintaining system integrity. This individual serves as the primary program administrator, and assigns multiple data cleanup projects and other efforts related to researching and updating incomplete or missing information on alumni and donors. This position also writes queries to extract data for data-cleansing and enhancement and helps resolve data issues, troubleshoots system problems and assesses priorities.

PsyD Program Administrative Assistant West LA Campus
Under the supervision of the PsyD Senior Program Administrator, the PsyD Administrative Assistant provides support on a broad range of tasks to the PsyD Program Director, faculty, staff and administration in order to accomplish the functions, goals and objectives of the Psychology Doctoral Program in the Psychology and Education Division. Tasks and responsibilities are determined by division priorities. Temporary Partner Relationship Specialist Malibu Campus
The temporary partner relationship specialist will serve as a critical member of the summer staff for Special Programs. The specialist will be responsible for upholding, fostering, and expanding the University’s commitment to hospitality and excellence in customer service. Working with external and internal stakeholders, this position is responsible for advancing the legacy of Pepperdine University, and ensuring a world-class experience for everyone visiting Pepperdine’s Malibu campus in the Summer of 2023. This position requires a flexible and optimistic servant leader, willing to take the steps necessary to contribute to the department and Pepperdine University as a whole. This is a highly visible role, which necessitates a variety of communication, patience, determination, and critical thinking in order to thrive. This role is responsible for assisting Special Program’s summer operations in a variety of ways, including but not limited to client communication and problem resolution. This individual, in additional to the team of student employees, plays a critical role in the summer programs in ensuring excellence in the execution of events and overnight stays as an outstanding exemplar for the Pepperdine community. This position is a critical point person for groups coming to campus to ensure strong hospitality. Due to the department’s varied needs in the summer, the temporary partner relationship specialist must be willing to work flexible hours, including later shifts and weekends. This temporary position will start out part-time (10-15 hours per week) with a target start date of March or April and increase to a full-time schedule from approximately May through August. This position will be eligible for overtime.
Mail Services/Service Specialist 2 Malibu Campus
This position provides valuable services to Pepperdine students, faculty, and staff. The timely and efficient management of mail and parcel processing is essential for Pepperdine students and University operations. Sort incoming US Postal Service mail and campus distributions. Process outgoing US Postal Service mail using a computerized postage system. Input incoming accountable mail and packages into a tracking System for delivery to students and departments. Assist and fill in for the Mail Clerk I position and other assigned duties as required.
Associate Director, Admission West LA Campus
The Associate Director will be an integral member of the Admission Office at the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the department, supervising a team, leading the documentation of business processes, as well as providing leadership, oversight and project management. This position reviews student immunization records, identifies non-compliance, organizes appointment scheduling, and administers appropriate immunizations and/or blood draws as needed to bring student records up to date. The Manager, Prospect Development Training and Support is primarily responsible for providing training and process support for Pepperdine’s advancement database, the Raiser’s Edge (RE/NXT) toward best practice data access, data entry, and data management. Working closely with subject matter experts across Advancement, this position will develop and manage a modular training program and accompanying documentation library for all RE/NXT users.
