Reporting to the real estate director and working within the Real Estate Operations department and the Business Services division, the real estate coordinator is responsible for all aspects of on-campus homeowners’ association management and on-campus community development, property management for various university-owned properties off-campus, delivery of consistently excellent customer service, support of auxiliary operations, and other duties as assigned.

This individual is responsible for association financial management and stewardship of University resources (in coordination with the real estate director and business services major area budget manager), administrative tasks which support the core business of the department, and excellent customer service. The individual must be detail-oriented, reliable in follow-up, possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be able to collaborate well with many groups inside and external to the University, and be effective in communicating across many different audiences. The individual must possess a mindset of creativity, high energy, and strategic resourcefulness.


  • Establishes and embodies the highest levels of professionalism, respect, collaboration, and customer service.
  • Handles all aspects of association management for the on-campus homeowners' associations with an exceptional level of customer service, competent guidance, and professional interaction. This includes daily operations, regular interaction with and support of Board of Directors and homeowners, neighborhood meeting attendance, budget preparation, and overall community business management.
  • Develops on-campus communities and community relations, including with University departments.
  • Maintains accurate association and property accounting records.
  • Develops and manages accessible avenues of community communication.
  • Coordinates property management for the University's off-campus properties.
  • Manages outside consultants and vendors, especially in conjunction with repair and maintenance projects, ensuring completion with exceptional quality, on time, and on budget.
  • Assists the real estate director in other departmental operations and with administrative responsibilities.
  • Works cross functionally across departments toward shared goals and common project objectives, especially with design and construction, facilities, public safety, finance, and business services. 
  • Supports auxiliary relationships within the business services division, particularly specific project work.
  • Upholds University mission through work performed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

Required: Bachelors degree

This is a Regular, Exempt, 40 hour per week position.

Salary: Commensurate with experience.
