Drescher Library Public Services Supervisor Malibu Campus
The Drescher Library Public Services Supervisor oversees daytime library operations, supervises student workers, and opens the library. This position works cooperatively with other departments in the library to provide excellent customer service, process library materials, and obtain faculty-requested physical reserves. This position also assists the Drescher Graduate Campus Librarian, the Librarian for Emerging Technology and Digital Projects, and the Makerspace Specialist with activities and initiatives at the Drescher Library iLab. Scheduled to open in Fall 2022, the iLab is an innovation lab geared toward graduate students and faculty. The Drescher Library Public Services Supervisor contributes to the mission of the university by supporting the learning, research, and teaching needs of faculty, students, and staff at the Drescher Graduate Campus located in Malibu, California. This position enjoys a wide variety of university benefits, including Pepperdine’s tuition remission program. Applicants without prior experience working in a library are welcome to apply, as on-the-job training will be provided.
School Certifying Official for Veterans Affairs Malibu Campus
The School Certifying Official (VA) will report to the Associate Registrar. The SCO will be responsible for assisting military-connected students, prospective students, and staff with all administrative needs across the University. The SCO will evaluate and process Department of Veterans Affairs education benefits, verifies student benefit eligibility, assists students through the benefit application process, and updates benefit information on a continuous basis. The candidate should have strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and orally. Must demonstrate strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. Candidates should be able to demonstrate detailed-oriented work experience.

Resident Directors oversee 6-15 student leaders including Resident Advisors (RAs) and Spiritual Life Advisors (SLAs); develop communities of 250-450 freshmen, sophomores, or upperclassmen/graduate students; and provide support to campus via an on-call RD rotation.

This position is responsible for providing technical expertise, execution of development projects using the Oracle Peoplesoft Development tools. The Senior ERP Developer supports the University by creating custom software applications as well as integrating and/or implementing Oracle Peoplesoft delivered and third-party software. The Senior ERP Developer has a solid understanding of all integration points and features of Oracle Peoplesoft systems. Individuals within the ERP Applications Development career progression work closely with clients, business analysts, and team members to understand the business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions for the development and operation of ERP systems. They typically design, test, and debug ERP software, while also providing client support, consultation, and subject matter expertise for day-to-day operations, maintenance, and support. ERP developers ensure that all ERP applications are in compliance with the organization's architectural standards. Reporting to the Associate University Librarian (AUL) for Special Collections, University Archives, and Preservation, and collaborating closely with departmental team members, the Librarian for Description, Documentation, and Discovery leads the work of special collections cataloging and processing for the University Libraries, supervises student employees, establishes and carries out procedures and manages workflow for all special collections acquisitions, cataloging, and processing. Through metadata creation, this position ensures researchers’ discovery of and access to our special collections, including the rare book, manuscript, and archives collections, the Malibu Historical Collection, the Starr Art and Music Collection, the University Archives, and the Churches of Christ Heritage Center collection.
