Assistant to the Assistant Vice President Malibu Campus
The Assistant to the Assistant Vice President will provide high-level administrative support to the Assistant Vice President overseeing Governmental and Regulatory Affairs, the Department of Public Safety, and the Center for Sustainability. The ideal candidate will be able to research, manage, and support a plethora of items and projects in a variety of areas, including, but not limited to, those overseen by the Assistant Vice President. This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible, and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting an office with diverse projects and priorities. The ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role. This person must utilize problem-solving skills on a myriad of levels, from rearranging complex schedules to revising and refining existing policies. It is vital for this candidate to assess the status quo and the desired final product, then create an appropriate action plan. Advanced written and verbal communication skills, strong decision-making ability, and attention to detail are equally important.
Waves Engagement and Annual Giving Officer Malibu Campus
The Waves Engagement and Annual Giving Officer is responsible for the strategic programming of engagement activities for athletic donors and for managing a portfolio of approximately 170-200 donors with a giving capacity of $1K-25K annually. In partnership with other athletics giving officers and athletics partners, this individual will work cross-organizationally to enhance alumni engagement strategies and implement an effective fundraising program to support the advancement goals of the University.

Assistant Director, International Student Advising Malibu Campus
The Assistant Director for International Student Advising serves as a Designated School Official (DSO) for the University and supports the Principal Designated School Official (PDSO), interacting with SEVIS and the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) to prepare the Form I-20 and report information about international students. Additionally, this position will directly advise international students regarding obtaining and maintaining their visa status by providing guidance and resources during their admission process, enrollment, and employment authorization period upon completion of study. This position manages the front office experience and supervises the International Student Services Specialist assigned to this responsibility. This position provides advice and support to the Pepperdine community on a broad spectrum of complex and sensitive immigration, visa, and employment issues and regulations, as well as mindful considerations and best practices for the University as hosts of graduate international students.
