Associate University Librarian for Special Collections, University Archives, and Preservation Malibu Campus
Reporting to the Dean of Libraries, the Associate University Librarian (AUL) for Special Collections, University Archives, and Preservation oversees all aspects of the Special Collections, University Archives, and Preservation department. The AUL leads a team of faculty, staff, and student workers to conduct collection development, preservation, organization, description, access, instruction, promotion and outreach for cultural heritage materials held by the libraries, especially rare books and archival materials. The AUL provides administrative oversight and support by setting priorities, hiring and supervising staff, managing budget expenditures, developing policies and procedures, and grant-writing. The AUL works with the Dean of Libraries and the department’s faculty and staff to set a vision for the department, and promotes this vision to stakeholders, including donors, faculty, and researchers. The AUL also serves on the libraries’ senior leadership team, and integrates the work of the department with the library as a whole. Additionally, the AUL contributes to teaching, learning, and research on campus by hosting workshops, providing in-class instruction, and leading seminars using special collection materials. The AUL helps to maintain ties with the university’s local community and heritage by building collections that reflect these relationships.
Assistant Vice Chancellor and Senior Director of Development, Graziadio Business School West LA Campus
The Assistant Vice Chancellor and Senior Director of Development will have primary responsibility for developing, organizing, leading, and implementing a comprehensive fundraising program and strategies for the Graziadio Business School and plays an important front-line fundraising role. As a major gift officer, this position will be expected to personally raise major gifts in support of the dean’s fundraising priorities, focusing on donors with a capacity of $25,000 to $1M+. In addition, the Senior Director of Development will mentor and supervise the Major Gifts Officer at the Graziadio Business School. Director of Recruitment and Program Relations Malibu Campus
Grow and maintain the Master of Public Policy enrolled student body to 100-120 students through innovative recruitment strategies, recruit and onboard new students in any newly created academic and professional program offerings, onboard new Master of Public Policy and other program students—such as those offered at the Pepperdine Washington, DC, campus—in a manner consistent with the mission and values of Pepperdine University and the School of Public Policy; collaborate with the director of online programs to create strategies to grow programs; update and implement a multi-year strategic plan to guarantee sustainable student enrollment in the School of Public Policy’s academic and professional programming. Includes the development and execution of an innovative recruitment plan that takes advantage of in-person recruitment events, digital recruitment, presentations to prospective student audiences and faculty, targeted advertising, and travel to and table at graduate workshops and fairs. Update and implement a program relations strategic plan that will leverage relationships across academia—both internally within Pepperdine University and externally among other like-minded and appropriately targeted institutions.
Advisor, Recruitment and Advising West LA Campus
The purpose of this position is to recruit qualified business professionals for the Graziadio Business School’s Bachelor of Science in Management completion Program. This position is responsible for responding to new and existing inquiries and inspiring, motivating, and supporting prospective students through their program exploration and application process. Recruitment duties include, but are not limited to individual consultations, hosting class visits, corporate partner and in-class presentations, and other in-person and virtual engagement opportunities.
Director, Business Services Operations Malibu Campus
The Director, Business Services Operations is responsible for the operations of the University’s business partners and assists with various projects within the Chief Business Officer division. Bringing excellence to all aspects of work and providing exceptional service, this position works directly with multiple departments, including Dining Services, campus bookstores, the Villa Graziadio Executive Center, Graduate Campuses, Special Programs, Corniche travel, vending, and licensing. Director, Appeals Malibu Campus
The Director of Appeals is responsible for developing, managing, and assessing the annual giving program so it will cultivate a culture of giving through appreciation, agency, affinity and affiliation and achieve sustainable giving from parents, students and alumni across all five schools within the University. The goal is not quantity of donors, nor is it the size of the gift given. The goal is to create a culture of giving that can grow over a lifelong relationship with Pepperdine. The strategies must maximize engagement with heartstrings to the University and not create donor apathy. The Director of Appeals ensures that our constituents feel properly cultivated in a relationship that results in giving through Pepperdine to advance the university’s mission. This role directly impacts the University's goal of creating a vibrant donor base. Giving via successful mass appeals supports both the financial needs of the University to accomplish its strategic plan and counts as a proxy vote of satisfaction for Pepperdine.
Real Estate Manager Malibu Campus
Reporting to the real estate director and working within the Real Estate Operations department and the Business Services division, the real estate coordinator is responsible for all aspects of on-campus homeowners’ association management and on-campus community development, property management for various university-owned properties off-campus, delivery of consistently excellent customer service, support of auxiliary operations, and other duties as assigned. This individual is responsible for association financial management and stewardship of University resources (in coordination with the real estate director and business services major area budget manager), administrative tasks which support the core business of the department, and excellent customer service. Manager, Data Resources Calabasas Campus
This Manager, Data Resources serves as the project manager and liaison between Advancement Services and the Pepperdine Fund (Pepperdine’s Annual Giving Team) for all data, gifts, reporting and analytics relating to mass appeals. Admissions and Office Manager Malibu Campus
Execute the primary functions of the Office of Student Services related to the tasks associated with admissions and office management, providing full service recruitment and admissions services to prospective applicants and students to the School of Public Policy. Manage recruitment and admissions services, including recruitment fairs and information sessions; communicate with and manage inquiries, leads, applicants, and admitted students; process applications. PsyD Program Administrative Assistant West LA Campus
Under the supervision of the PsyD Associate Program Director, the PsyD Administrative Assistant provides support on a broad range of tasks to the PsyD Program Director, faculty, staff and administration in order to accomplish the functions, goals and objectives of the Psychology Doctoral Program in the Psychology and Education Division. Enrollment Processor, Online Psychology Programs West LA Campus
The Enrollment Processor Online Programs is responsible for managing workflow to meet deadlines as well as maintaining and updating business processes. This position ensures the University stays up to date in the knowledge and use of multiple data systems, including but not limited to PeopleSoft, SalesForce, Etrieve, data warehouse systems, FTP and data migration platforms, data imaging systems, and online application systems. The candidate will also be responsible for collecting and tracking admissions files and creating and coordinating communication among students regarding admission status. In addition, the Enrollment Services Processor will be charged with maintaining SEVIS and international student data collection and performing process audits on student enrollment processes to ensure matriculation.
