Industry Specialist: Communication, Arts, & Entertainment Malibu Campus
The Industry Specialist serves as critical member of Seaver College Career Center team. The position provides customized industry specific support for students and alumni, as well as employers within the areas of communications, arts/fine arts, media, marketing, and entertainment. The position also provides tailored internship, job search, and graduate school coaching for students and alumni as well as sourcing and recruiting support for employers.
Director of Development, Planned Giving Malibu Campus
The Director of Development for Planned Giving works with internal and external constituents to strengthen the advancement work of the University, specifically, the planned giving efforts of the Center for Estate and Gift Planning. Specializing in the financial aspect of planned giving, this individual is responsible for securing legacy gifts to Pepperdine University and stewarding long-term relationships with planned giving donors. The individual in this role works with current and potential donors to establish planned gifts, major gifts, and in-kind gifts to support the mission of Pepperdine University. Planned giving provides critical support for Pepperdine students, faculty, schools, and programs, allowing Pepperdine to achieve and maintain the highest standards of academic excellence and Christian values and to strengthen students for lives of purpose, service, and leadership. Planned giving fundraising is an essential component to meeting the University’s fundraising goals and strategic plans.
Office Manager and Engagement Specialist Malibu Campus
The Office Manager and Engagement Specialist oversees the daily operations of the Engagement & Mass Appeal department, assists in outreach, marketing, and event planning initiatives, and supports the goals of the department to further their advancement efforts.
Strategy Support Manager Malibu Campus
The Strategy Support Manager serves as a partner to the front-line fundraisers in Advancement to reach the University's fundraising goals. Vice Chancellor, Principal Gifts Malibu Campus
The Vice Chancellor for Principal Gifts is responsible for and plays an important front-line fundraising role for the general fundraising goals of Pepperdine University. As a principal gift officer, this position will be expected to personally raise gifts in support of the University’s fundraising priorities, focusing on donors with a capacity of $250K+. In addition, this individual will serve as a member of Advancement’s leadership team and report directly to the Vice President for Advancement and Chief Development Officer. The Vice Chancellor for Planned Giving provides strategic leadership for the University’s planned giving office and serves as a front-line fundraiser for the University’s planned giving efforts. Planned giving fundraising provides critical support for Pepperdine students, faculty, schools, and programs, allowing Pepperdine to achieve and maintain the highest standards of academic excellence and Christian values and to strengthen students for lives of purpose, service, and leadership. Planned giving fundraising is an essential component to meeting the University’s fundraising goals and strategic plans. The individual in this role needs knowledge of and comfort with technical aspects of major and planned gift fundraising, including types of gifts, assets accepted, gift planning strategies, and a strong relationship management orientation.
Associate Editor Calabasas Campus
The associate editor creates content for Pepperdine communication channels aimed at supporting and elevating the Pepperdine brand, building reputation, and strengthening affinity. The associate editor seeks to identify compelling Pepperdine stories and envisions new ways to communicate them across media. This position reports to the senior managing editor. Integrated Marketing Communications is directly tasked with supporting the University's mission and strategic plan by building brand equity, elevating the University's national reputation, providing strong and consistent institutional message leadership, and implementing effective integrated marketing and communication strategies. Student Organizations Coordinator Malibu Campus
The Student Organizations Coordinator works to ensure high-quality on-campus programming, student leadership, and risk management through oversight of the Inter-Club Council and its organizations. This includes oversight of Christian ministries and accompanying programs, including pastoral care, and crisis response. Pepperdine University, a private, non-profit, faith-based institution, seeks a Shuttle Driver to safely transport students, faculty, staff, and guests to and from various destinations on and around Pepperdine's campus, serving those with accessibility needs following ADA regulations. This position serves as a front-line ambassador, upholding the University mission through work performed, warmly welcoming students, community members and guests, and providing directional information as needed. This position provides additional support to the Lead Shuttle Driver to cover schedules. Greeting each passenger with a smile is the first step to making them feel welcome on the Pepperdine campus. As a member of Pepperdine's Transit team, the Shuttle Driver will be one of the first, and most regular, faces interacting with our passengers. There will be occasions on which departments within the University will request off-campus special events that will require shuttle services. The incumbent will be expected to reflect Pepperdine's high customer service standards with a friendly and helpful demeanor.

This position also schedules Work Orders for technicians, oversees relevant installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC-R, pool, appliance, and irrigation pump lift station systems, components, and fixtures throughout campus utilizing plans, manufacturer specifications, and verbal instructions.
Service Electrician Malibu Campus
Under the direction of the Manager of Maintenance Services for the Department of Facilities Services (DFS) and in collaboration with colleagues, the Service Electrician responds to work order requests and supervisors' directions to perform relevant installation, repair, replacement, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems, components, and fixtures throughout campus utilizing plans, specifications, and verbal instructions. This position collaborates with DFS and other University departments to initiate and deliver high-quality projects on budget and in a timely manner.
